Vegetables - Saffron Rice
Serves 4 with any fish or poultry.
Ingredients
1 cup rice
1 3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon chicken base
1/2 teaspoon saffron threads
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon butter
Directions
Bring to a boil water, chicken base, saffron, lemon juice, and butter. Add rice and simmer for 35 minutes. Serves 4.
